Disney World Dining at the Parks

There are many different dining options in all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  The levels can be summed up into three basic categories:  Table service, counter service and snacks.  Within the table service category there are several price points, but Disney labels its best restaurants as “Signature Dining”.  If you opt for a signature dining restaurant, it is worth noting, that it will cost you two table service credits if you are using a Disney Dining Plan (covered in more detail here).

There are a lot of great table service restaurants within the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  Some of our favorites are Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom, Biergarten in Epcot, as well as Coral Reef,  Tusker House in Animal Kingdom and Mama Melrose’s in Hollywood Studios.  No matter what your pallet craves, we are certain,  you will be delighted with the majority of the table service restaurants in the Walt Disney World Theme Parks!

Counter service restaurants typically come with a lot less fanfare than the table service ones do, but there are still some wonderful places to eat!  In fact one of our favorite’s in Magic Kingdom is indeed a counter service: Columbia Harbour House.  Can you say lobster rolls and clam chowder?  Yum!  We also love Casey’s Corner ( corn dog nuggets & fries) at Magic Kingdom as well. Some more of our favorites are Flame Tree Barbecue at Animal Kingdom and La Cantina de San Angel at Epcot.

Note: As far as Theme Park dining goes, Epcot is in a class of it’s own.  There are gobs of great restaurants there.  It is particularly good during the Food and Wine Festival, where you can taste many different things throughout the world showcase.  This is a great date night!
